About Us
Our secret meadow garden offers a natural, beautiful space for you to hold your occasion in our enchanting Celeste Pole Marquee, with its panoramic sides which allows uninterrupted views across the garden down to the Willow tree.
A perfect backdrop for your photographs - an amazing setting for an outdoor ceremony.

Celeste Pole Marquee
Simply Beautiful
Entering through double wooden doors, the Celeste is a large 24m x 12m marquee which provides an enchanting space for up to 175 guests. With its panoramic straight sides, giving a true open air feel, and a useable 250 square metres of floor space, our marquee provides ample room to incorporate niche areas for sofas, carts, photos, etc.
The 23' wooden centre poles, lit with thousands of twinkling fairy lights and lanterns hanging from greenery draped ropes, creates a magical ambience for your celebration.
Natural wood tables and chairs to seat up to 175 guests, choice of head table or sweetheart table for two, and 3 highchairs, provide

An artificial grass floor blends beautifully into the surroundings when the marquee sides are removed, and set into this is a dance floor on which you can dance the night away!
Hire is for 2 days; Day 1: decoration and preparation,
Day 2 : the event.
Plus access the following day for decoration removal.
The Meadow Garden

A four acre private oasis on the edge of the historic City of Ely.
This natural garden has a surrounding hedgerow, wild roses, trees, tall grasses, wildlife pond with a bridge and a weeping Willow tree.
A vista which changes throughout the seasons.
We have a Gazebo and a Moon Gate situated in the meadow garden, which you are welcome to use for an outdoor ceremony.
Plus rustic wooden benches for seating guests.
We have lights in the garden which look amazing by night and outdoor seating.
There is ample parking at the meadow garden.
There is a toilet lodge in the meadow garden which provides ladies and gents toilets in a rustic chic style.
Incorporated into this lodge is a family toilet, with baby change facilities, which can also be used for a changing room, accessed by a ramp.
The meadow garden provides a beautiful, natural backdrop for your photographs.

We are offering you a simply beautiful private setting where you can make your dreams a reality. So, put together your favourite food, choice of music, style of décor and customise your day to suit you.
We have no catering restrictions here - you are free to choose. No corkage on champagne/wine on your tables* - you can supply this.
A Personal Ceremony in the Meadow Garden.
You can create your own personal ceremony - use the gazebo or moon gate in the garden with our benches to seat your guests.
If you would like a Celebrant to officiate at your ceremony - please see our Recommendations page.
Cambridgeshire County Registrars Office also offer a Bespoke option to have a ceremony in the meadow garden.

Viewing The Meadow Garden.
Viewings are available throughout the year, however the marque is only up between April and October.
Do come along for a visit - it would be good to meet you, show you what we have to offer and discuss your ideas and plans.

Photo Shoots;
If you would like a pre-wedding, engagement or anniversary photo shoot in the meadow garden - the cost to hire the garden is £125 for 3 hours, including use of a changing room, toilets, and refreshments.
Arrange your own photographer and make some special memories.
Location;
We are on the edge of the Cathedral City of Ely in Cambridgeshire.
We are approximately a mile from Ely City centre which has a large variety of overnight stay options, from luxury Hotel to B&B's, Guest Houses, and a Travel Lodge.
The Meadow Garden is around a mile from Ely train station.
Plus, only around a mile from the Ely Registrars Office!

Decoration & Preparation
We can assist if you would like some help.
Apple Lodge Hire.
We offer hire on many items that could contribute to creating the day you are planning for, such as ice cream cart, candy cart, sofa set, lanterns, farmhouse tables, table runners, floral arrangements, glassware, etc..
This hire option saves you the trouble of transportation and items can be viewed in the marquee during the summer season, thus giving you the opportunity to see how the items would look for your day.
Please ask for a hire list.
Decorating Service.
We offer a decorating service - if you would like some assistance.
This can include setting up of your reception tables, adding floral decoration to the gazebo or moon gate, floral decoration to the entrance of the marquee, floral hoops which can be hung on the marquee sides, etc..
We use artificial flowers so the floral decorations can be prepared ready for the Friday, Day 1 - decoration and preparation.
Tables settings would also be ready for the Friday - so you can add place cards, etc..
